As part of the Big Sleuth project, a fantastic new adventure happening within Birmingham where 100 life size bear statues are to be decorated and painted by local schools and artists and then put on display for local and national visitors to enjoy, Halls Garden Centre are getting involved to help the local community get in on the action.
The flower beds outside Age Concern in Boldmere have been in need of a bit of tender loving care for quite a while. An approach by Cllr Paul Long to Nathan Dodd of Hall's Garden Centre and Andy Foxall of Age Concern has resulted in a flourishing new display of flowers outside Age Concern in time for the Boldmere Street Festival on 18th June when a defibrillator will be installed outside Age Concern in an old red telephone box acquired by Martin Pedley of Boldmere Traders Association.
Our Florist Vanessa (From Gabrielle Rose Flowers) will be demonstrating how to display a vase arrangement with the opportunity to make your own to take away with you.
Approximately 20 spaces. Includes flowers, tea/coffee & cake.
