As part of the Big Sleuth project, a fantastic new adventure happening within Birmingham where 100 life size bear statues are to be decorated and painted by local schools and artists and then put on display for local and national visitors to enjoy, Halls Garden Centre are getting involved to help the local community get in on the action.
According to our aquatic expert Dan Everton it's important to plan ahead now. Keep pond netting in place to prevent leaves from adjacent trees falling in and decaying. You will also need to continue to remove dying foliage from any pond plants. Feed your fish Wheatgerm which is easier for fish to digest at low temperatures. Feed this between October and March especially when the water is below 10º C (50º F).
