Christmas Trees,  Wreaths & Garlands

Real Christmas trees not only look impressive but they smell great and will create the perfect focal point within your home over the festive period.

Available from the end of November, Hall’s Garden Centre offer a variety of trees on display, letting you browse and pick the perfect one for you and your family. We have a variety of types and sizes to choose from, especially our most popular which is the 6ft-7ft Norway Spruce.

You can choose to take your tree home with you when you pop in to visit, or alternatively for those who don’t have suitable transport, we can offer a local delivery service at a small additional cost.

We’re passionate about offering high-quality, responsibly sourced trees, many of which have the added property of needle retention, which reduces the amount of dropped needles dramatically, leading to hardly any mess and one less thing to worry about. We’re proud to only supply trees which have be grown and cared for from sustainable growers, where for each tree that has been cut down, two or three new trees are planted in its place.

Our Christmas Wreaths are handmade and decorated in Herefordshire, each wreath is created using locally sourced Nordmann Fir which is freshly cut to provide a long lasting and beautiful wreath for your Christmas and New Year festivities.

As they're handmade, we only have a limited amount available, so pre-order yours now ready for delivery at the start of December.

Modern Christmas Trees

There has been a rise recently in the number of twig style contemporary trees for illumination in the garden. I can understand why. They either come with a spike, or a stand, take about 5 minutes to unravel, and then all you have to do is plug them in. They look at home in the winter gardens but really come to life when darkness falls. Premier Decorations style their range on a flowering cherry tree, naming one variety the Osaka Cherry Blossom Christmas Light Tree. A posh name, but with sizes up to 8 feet tall available, it is certainly not a shrinking violet.

Fibre optic trees are still popular and a real old favourite whilst new for 2013 is the range of Premier Decorations Time Lights. These are great where you cannot get electricity to a tree. A heavy duty outdoor plastic compartment holds the batteries and a sensor which illuminate the lights when night falls. They switch themselves off 6 hours later and repeat the cycle the following day at night fall. The batteries should last a full season.
My neighbour’s grand daughter loves the ones we have in the garden. ‘Where’s the magic tree gone?’ she asks me in the morning, with eyes wide open. Seeing is believing!
